As part of each Great Place planning process, a brand is created to identify and promote the work in the concentrated focus area. The residents, stakeholders and neighborhood partners in and around the 25th at Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. area are currently in the brand development phase of planning. They are working to identify both symbol and name that honor the rich cultural history of the area while inspiring the positive development of the MLK corridor for the future. The next public meeting to finalize the brand for the area will be held Thursday, December 21st at 5:30 PM at the Flanner House. The brand that is created will join the suite of other Great Places brand that can all be used together to promote the collective work of all the Great Places throughout the city.
