There is a 10 - 20 year life expectancy gap between various Indianapolis neighborhoods. The lower life expectancy rate is largely due to health disparities and is similar to rates seen in countries such as Iraq and Bangladesh. In addition, 80 percent of health outcomes come from social determinants of health like housing, safety and income. So, how can we work to help bridge that gap?
