What was once the Flanner House branch of the IMCPL will soon be the home of Ujamaa Community Bookstore, a place for gathering, buying and exchanging books, and hub for cooperative economics in Indianapolis.The opening is planned for Juneteenth 2021 from 2 - 4 pm. The opening event will feature food trucks, music, door prizes, flash sales and gift bags for the first 50 neighbors. Ujamaa is looking for a limited number of small business owners to have their services or products for sale and display in the space. For more information,
